The Houston Airport System (HAS) has retained Bovay Engineers International (Bovay) to serve as the Prime Firm to provide specialized Quality Control/Constructability/Energy Consumption.
Study services on an “as required” basis for a period of two years, with an additional one‐year renewable option period. Projects, with no limit in size, will generally involve renovations to existing facilities, or new Additions, to any of the three airports within the HAS system; Bush Intercontinental, Hobby Airport or Ellington Field.
Bovay performed Quality Control and Construction Reviews of all project design submittals. Simultaneously, Bovay collected data currently being used by various HAS Divisions to guide designers in designing HAS projects and prepared a comprehensive “Manual” that includes all of the latest standards, guidelines and checklist in a uniform format.
