Houston Community College

Project Description

The new Academic Center at the Northline Campus of Northeast College is intended to be the first in a series of buildings, with the intention of providing a full services campus to the community surrounding Northline Mall. The impetus for this project developed from a need to find new space for the Northline Center, as the current space in the Northline Mall is to be torn down, and a new mall was planned to be constructed. HCCS has acquired approximately 22 acres to the wast of the mail site to provide the land for this building and the future Northline Campus. The Academic Center is currently programmed at approximately 120,000 GSF (78,000 ASF).
